Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quoting process collects only gender, birth date, overall health assessment, smoking status, the coverage limit you want, and how many years of coverage you need. Those six items produce the carrier rates. Your contact information and detailed health records are only gathered if you decide to move forward.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
Those are the premiums each carrier quotes for the coverage class you chose. The carrier's underwriting after application may affirm, improve, or modify that class. Rates shown are estimates intended for comparison only and not a price commitment or insurance offer.
What happens when I click Apply?
You'll provide your name as the applicant, and from the quote you selected, the system creates a matching application prefilled with your answers. The carriers' secure platform then handles the process. You can stop and save your progress anytime, and you'll sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), administers the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier you pick, the amount you're seeking, and your health background. Carriers that advertise immediate decisions can approve qualified applicants quickly without an exam; the quote details explain whether an exam is required, could be required, or probably isn't required.
Is a longer term better?
A term covers the years when someone would face real hardship from lost income: an unpaid mortgage, dependent children, a business obligation. Paying more each month for longer protection locks your rate in for a longer span. The quote tool shows side-by-side pricing across 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoting system doesn't retain email or phone information, visitor data isn't shared or sold, and our analytics don't use cookies. Head to the privacy page for the complete accounting of what's tracked and by whom.
